"Amapolas" (2020-...)

 

The amapola is a wild and delicate flower. It has long been used as a symbol of peace, sleep and death. It is a special flower.  If you cut it, it decomposes and falls apart quickly. If we want to preserve it, it will be necessary to elaborate it, to prepare it in such a way that it does not spoil. The resulting nature, imperfect, will be much more complete, elegant... and will remain. 

 

 The amapola, seen in this way, is a poetic metaphor.

 

 Love and beauty are the two fundamental challenges of the human being and it takes a lifetime to understand them.
